Stachys byzantina
Lambs Ear is a vigorous evergreen carpeting perennial to 20cm tall, grown for its dense mat of grey-white elliptic leaves to 10cm long which forms a striking ground cover. A hardy perennial most known for its thick woolly leaves, not its flowers. The plant grows best in full sun and well-drained soil and can tolerate poor-soil conditions.
